Hw does it work?
In civilian life as in the military, everyone has varying levels of fitness but all can be improved on with the right type of training, in the right enviroment, with the right help and encouragement.
How do we achieve it?
With ability groups. This allows everyone to work at the correct level according to their exisiting fitness levels and achieve what they want and more from MILITARY CROSS TRAINING. This is carried out with the use of a bib system.
Ability Groups
Blue This is the starting point for most people who want to improve their general fitness or loose weight. Anyone who wants to move up to the next level can do so when they feel comfortable or equally stay where they are. There is no pressure to change bib, but the instructor will let you know if they think you can achieve more and if it's not for you then you can always change back.
Red This is turning up the throttle a notch and will push you that bit further in your training and get you to that next level.
Green Are you ready for everything you wish for? then Green is going to push you well out of your comfort zone and beyond. This is for people already used to training ot that have high levels on the Fitness Assessment or show vast improvements in the red group.
Fitness Assessments
These are run on the 1st Saturday of the month and can be done any 1st Saturday after starting if you start mid-month. Although not a prerequisite before starting this helps enable the instructor to check you ability level and put you in the ability group that's right for you. It's also a good way for you to help set personal goals and see your progress. These are voluntary but worth doing, and of course its still fitness training and costs nothing extra if you are already participating in classes or starting classes.
